The 10-day readiness sprint
The readiness sprint is a fixed-price, 10-day engagement in which senior Valfort Tech engineers assess your delivery, reliability, AI platform and enterprise readiness on read-only access. You get a scored report, a ranked 90-day roadmap and one fix shipped to production, for $3,500.
What you get in ten days
A scored report
Ship, Run, Scale AI and Embed, each scored against a written rubric, with the evidence behind every score.
A ranked 90-day roadmap
The work ordered by value and effort, sized so your own team or ours can pick it up on Monday.
One fix in production
The highest-value fix we find, shipped through your pull requests before the readout.
Cost and risk in dollars
Cloud waste, incident cost and stalled-deal risk turned into figures your finance team can check.
A recorded readout
A 60-minute walkthrough for your engineers and leadership, recorded so nobody needs to take notes.
Credit toward follow-on work
The full $3,500 comes off any build sprint or retainer you book afterwards.

What we score
The same four areas as our services, so the roadmap maps straight onto the work.
Make your product deployable at your customers, and pass their security review.
Covers Forward deployed engineering and Go-to-market DevOps.
Three times the fee, or it's free
If the readout doesn't show at least $10,500 in savings or avoided risk, you don't pay the $3,500. We show the working for every figure: cloud waste from your billing data, incident cost from your own pager history, and deal risk from the security reviews you are waiting on.
We can offer this because the sprint is narrow on purpose. Ten days on read-only access is enough to find real money in most teams we would take on, and the call on day 0 is where we tell you if we don't think it is.
Sprint questions
How much does the readiness sprint cost?
It is a fixed $3,500, agreed before we start. The fee is credited in full to any follow-on work, and if we don't find at least three times the fee in savings or avoided risk, the sprint is free.
What access do you need for the sprint?
Read-only access to your cloud accounts, CI/CD, observability tools and repositories, plus short interviews with two or three engineers. We never need write access to production during the sprint. The one fix we ship goes through your normal pull request review.
What happens if you don't find three times the fee?
You don't pay. We put every saving and avoided risk in dollars in the readout, with the working shown, so you can check the figure yourself.
Do we have to hire you after the sprint?
No. You keep the report, the roadmap and the fix. Some teams book a build sprint or a retainer, and plenty run the roadmap with their own engineers.
Which teams is the sprint a good fit for?
Software and AI companies with roughly 10 to 200 engineers that run on AWS, GCP or Azure and feel pain in delivery, reliability, cloud cost, AI in production or enterprise deals. Very small teams on a managed platform usually don't need it yet.
