Go-to-market DevOps for your first enterprise deals
Go-to-market DevOps is the infrastructure and security work a B2B SaaS company needs to pass enterprise procurement. Valfort Tech builds a SOC 2-ready AWS or GCP baseline, wires evidence into Vanta or Drata, runs launch load tests, prepares your AWS Marketplace listing and answers security questionnaires. Teams are typically audit-ready in 4–8 weeks. An independent auditor issues the report.

What we deliver
Everything ships as code in your repositories, with runbooks and a recorded handover.
SOC 2-ready cloud baseline
An AWS or GCP baseline in Terraform covering access, logging, encryption, backups and change management, mapped to SOC 2 controls.
Evidence in Vanta or Drata
Cloud accounts, identity, code review and CI wired into Vanta or Drata, so evidence is collected automatically instead of by screenshot.
Security questionnaires
Accurate answers to customer security questionnaires, plus a reusable answer library and architecture notes for the next one.
Launch load test
Load tests sized to your launch or largest customer, with the bottlenecks found and fixed before real traffic arrives.
AWS Marketplace listing
The technical setup for an AWS Marketplace listing, so enterprise buyers can purchase through their existing AWS spend.
Policies, runbooks and handover
Runbooks for access reviews, incidents and evidence upkeep, plus a recorded handover so your team stays audit-ready.
Typical results
Teams starting from a typical startup cloud setup are usually ready for a SOC 2 auditor in 4–8 weeks.
With a reusable answer library, a long security questionnaire typically takes days instead of weeks.
Load testing before launch typically surfaces capacity limits while there is still time to fix them.
Typical ranges, not promises. We measure your own baseline in the first week.
How a Go-to-market DevOps engagement runs
The first two weeks run on read-only access. Every change after that goes through your pull requests, with one named engineer and a written update every Friday.
- Weeks 1–2
- Gap review and first fixWe review your cloud, identity and CI on read-only access against SOC 2 controls, rank the gaps and ship one fix.
- Weeks 3–4
- Baseline as codeWe build the SOC 2-ready baseline in Terraform and wire your accounts and tools into Vanta or Drata.
- Weeks 5–6
- Close the gapsWe fix failing controls, answer open security questionnaires and run the launch load test.
- Weeks 7–8
- Auditor-ready and handoverWe prepare evidence for your chosen auditor, set up the AWS Marketplace listing if needed, and record the handover.

Go-to-market DevOps questions
Can Valfort Tech give us a SOC 2 report?
No. Only an independent CPA firm can issue a SOC 2 report, and Valfort Tech is not an auditor. We prepare your infrastructure, controls and evidence so you are ready for the audit, and we can work alongside the auditor you choose. That separation is what makes the report credible to your customers.
How much does it cost to get SOC 2 ready?
Engagements start with a 10-day readiness sprint at a fixed $3,500. You get a scored report, a ranked 90-day roadmap and one fix shipped to production. If we do not find at least three times the fee in savings or avoided risk, the sprint is free. Follow-on work is scoped after the sprint, and the fee is credited to it. Auditor and compliance platform fees are separate.
How long does it take to become SOC 2 audit-ready?
Most startups are typically audit-ready in 4–8 weeks, depending on how much of the cloud setup already exists as code and how many systems are in scope. After that, a SOC 2 Type I audit can start. A Type II report also needs an observation period, which the auditor sets with you.
Do we need Vanta or Drata to get SOC 2?
No, but a compliance platform like Vanta or Drata makes SOC 2 much easier to reach and to keep. It collects evidence automatically and tracks control status between audits. We wire your cloud accounts, identity provider, code review and CI into the platform you choose, so failing controls show up early.
Can you help answer a customer security questionnaire?
Yes. We answer security questionnaires accurately from how your systems actually work, and fix the gaps the questions expose where we can. We also build a reusable answer library and architecture notes, so the next questionnaire takes days instead of weeks and your sales team is not blocked by engineering.
